Nidhi Menon & Brittany Boribong had their abstracts selected for poster presentation, and Udaya Sree Datla had her abstract selected for both oral & poster presentations at the "18th International Conference on Systems Biology (ICSB) 2017" at Virginia Tech this Fall (August 6-12, 2017).

Udaya Sree Datla, a graduate researcher in Jones lab has been awarded a Collaboration Incentive Award at "The Second Center for Soft Matter and Biological Physics Symposium" at Virginia Tech on May 17, 2017. She received this award along with Sheng Chen (graduate student in Dr. Uwe Täuber's lab in physics dept.) for their work entitled "The Spatiotemporal Network Dynamics of Acquired Resistance in an Engineered Microecology".

Microfluidic Methods for Molecular Biology 1st ed. 2016 Edition (Editors Chang Lu and Scott S. Verbridge) was published on June 15, 2016. Caroline N. Jones and Joseph M. Martel-Foley were co-authors of Chapter 14 ‘Microfluidics for High-Throughput Cellular Isolation and Analysis in Biomedicine’.
